At What Point is a Hockey Game Thought of as Offical for the Purpose of Sports Betting?

Hockey games do not have to go 60 minutes for bets to have action. After the game has been in play for 55 minutes, it is considered official for wagering purposes.
Hockey bettors can even bet on the third period and those bets include overtime.
When a shootout is required in a game, the winning team will get one goal as the final score no matter how many goals are made during the shootout round.
A site with good resources for sports bettors on the subject is http://thesbj.com
