Simply sitting down at the wrong table is sometimes what makes the difference between winning and losing. There are ways of picking out tables online for beginners, while avoiding the players that are there to milk you out of your money.

When you first start to play it would be best for you play a straightforward game on a loose table to achieve success. Generally there is not a lot of aggressive betting, but many players will be seeing the flop. The end result will be larger pots and more bad beats overall.

You should check out three things when choosing a table. The first thing to watch after the flop is the number of overall players that are still in the hand. When dealing with online poker rooms, you just have to know the right place to look to find this statistic. A high percentage is what you want. Anything over 35% should be concidered high. In that case you would have what is called a loose table. The next thing that you must do is look at the average pot size. To be appealing, this should generally be at least 12 times the small blind. The next thing that you should look for is anyone that looks weak. Notes on your opponents if you take online notes. (you should too)And maybe if you’re lucky a few of your known weak players will sit at the same table, look for them at a table. Please sit down if they do.
